I'm an avid World of Warcraft gamer (3v3 arena mostly these days) and was wondering what traffic volumes look like while experiencing different aspects of the game. The chart below gives some quick indication that in fact the amount of traffic created by an MMO such as WoW is relatively low.
So if you catch a coworker in Alterac Valley pwning noobs on their lunch break it's probably not such a bad thing in terms of network utilization! The wonders of NetFlow-based reporting...
BTW: My main is an undead mage "Cretos" Horde side on US-Fenris.
